Born and raised in New York City- though the forests and mountains have my heart.
I became a full-time wedding photographer back in 2018.
Before that, I was at Apple. (No green bubbles please! kidding)
I consider myself a pretty simple guy.
I eat... a lot...(starting a food blog) I cry… a lot…(doesn’t matter what kind of movie) and I put cilantro on almost everything.
I’m always on the hunt for new restaurants, bubble tea spots, new coffee beans, and music! Let’s go together, ya?
I’ve been dubbed the pun master. I hope you can handle my dad jokes, silliness, and my extreme energy.
Life moves so quickly. If there’s one thing I can leave on this planet for the future, they’re photographs.
Let’s get it done, fam.
I DO NOT JUST WANT TO BE YOUR 'PHOTOGRAPHER'
FRIENDS.
They mean the world to me.
Growing up with a small, distant family,
I found tremendous value in forging everlasting friendships.
I hope that if we click, I get to not only be a part of your big day, but a part of the rest of your lives.
Human beings are meant to connect.
I won't take our bond for granted!
“Every wedding, every shoot, I see the world through a whole new lens. Your story will be different from the last, and this ignites my passion all over again.”
I got into photographing love because I truly believe that there is nothing greater.
There is true power in what I do. I DO NOT take that lightly. I've had couples thank me for taking photos of certain members of their family together who may have passed- or certain moments frozen in time that help them relive a certain emotion. What TREMENDOUS value I get to create in my lifetime.
You'll really get to learn that I'm an extremely sensitive, emotional human being. I carry that into my work.
You can catch me tearing up behind the lens during your vows
But no- in all seriousness! I'm here to ensure your day goes as smooth as possible. When we think of wedding planning, a venue and photographer are typically chosen first. That means a TON!
Yes, there are planners- but I want to make sure we are working CLOSELY together to finalize a perfect schedule.
I want to help in ANY way possible. I don't want to just be your 'photographer'. If I'm to capture the day in the most GENUINE way possible, we need to be on the same wavelength!
I work typically a bit more 'chill'. I prefer candids over posed photos. I want to make sure you're comfortable throughout the day. I'm like a fly on the wall. This also helps me find out if your aunt has some serious d-moves on the d-floor.
Disney + PIXAR MOVIES
SHAKE ME TO MY CORE.
I have way too many coffee beans, bourbon, and whiskey.
I also really have to emphasize my extremely weird obsession with cilantro.
I also love soup. A complete sucker for soup. Warms up my soul the way I hope my images will for you. (omg lol)
I got into grilling. I love grilling. I'm by no means a pro, but it absolutely brings me joy flipping burgers + some mean bbq on the grill.
Podcasts are probably one of my favorite things. Open to ANYTHING + EVERYTHING but those self-help motivational stuff is some killer material.
I also love driving- preferably at night, even though my astigmatism is terrible.
OH! and here's my ABSOLUTE BEST FRIEND. My tabby Theo. Dude is A STUD.
Martin is an incredible photographer, not only because he captures and edits beautiful images, but also because of how comfortable and fun he makes his photo sessions! We couldn't have been more thankful to work with someone who was as understanding, flexible, and talented as Martin. He's approachable, kind, and has some of the most interesting life stories to tell (shame on you if you don't enjoy his (dad) jokes!). Would recommend him in a heart beat.
11/10 would recommend!
Martin was honestly such a pleasure to work with. I'm super awkward in front of the camera but our pictures came out so great! We opted out of the engagement shoot so our wedding day was the first time working with him. He is very accommodating and so sweet! He scoped out our wedding site and picked locations for our first look/ bridal party shots. He was also helpful in figuring out my day of timeline. He had sneak peek photos ready for us the day after our wedding and our photos were ready within 5 weeks. He also surprised/ gifted us with polaroid photos on the day of! 11/10 would recommend :)
Our engagement session with Martin was total perfection. He's incredible communicative, flexible, and just fun to be around, and he made us feel super comfortable during the entire photo shoot. The images are simply STUNNING--we could not have been more thrilled. Working with Martin was easily the best decision we've made so far in the wedding planning process!
